What Playoff Push is

Playoff Push shows live standings, schedules, playoff odds and a rooting guide for teams in the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, Premier League and Champions League. You can use the website and the app without creating an account.

What we collect

If you sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook or X: your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by that service, plus an account identifier. We never receive your password for those services and we never post on your behalf.
Your preferences: favourite teams, light or dark theme, and notification settings.
Device push token if you turn on notifications, so we can deliver alerts about your teams.
Basic technical logs from our hosting provider (IP address, browser or app version, pages requested), kept for a short time for security and debugging.

We do not sell personal information and we do not run advertising trackers. Sportsbook links, where shown, may be affiliate links marked "ad"; following one takes you to the sportsbook's own site and privacy policy.

How we use it

To keep you signed in, sync your favourites across devices, send the alerts you asked for, and keep the service running. Sports data comes from public league and ESPN APIs and is not tied to your account.

Where it lives

Accounts and favourites are stored with Supabase (Postgres) and the site is hosted on Amazon Web Services in Canada and the United States. Access is restricted to your own signed-in session.

Deleting your account and data

Sign in, open your account page and choose Sign out to end the session on a device. To delete your account and everything stored with it (profile, favourites, push tokens), email privacy@playoffpush.ca from the address you signed in with, or use the account page's delete option where available. Deletion is completed within 30 days and is permanent.

If you signed in with Facebook, you can also start deletion from Facebook's Apps and Websites settings; the request reaches us and is handled the same way.

Children

Playoff Push is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
